Q: How do I leave a review?

A: After an order is confirmed complete, you can leave a 1–5 star review with written feedback. Reviews appear on the artist’s public profile and contribute to their reputation score.

Q: Can artists reply to reviews?

A: Yes. Artists can post a public reply to any review. Replies should be professional — retaliation or arguments in review replies are a Code of Conduct violation.

Q: Can I edit or delete a review I left?

A: Contact support@fursonasfactory.com if you need to correct a review submitted in error.

Q: What if I receive a review I believe is fake or retaliatory?

A: Flag the review using the report button. Staff can remove reviews that violate review integrity rules — including fake reviews, retaliatory reviews, and review manipulation.

Q: Can I leave a negative review after losing a dispute?

A: Reviews must reflect your genuine experience. A negative review purely as retaliation for a dispute outcome is a Code of Conduct violation and may result in the review being removed and a content strike.

Q: What happens to an artist’s reputation if they get bad reviews?

A: Reviews aggregate into the artist’s visible rating on their store and profile, affecting discoverability and buyer trust.

Q: When is the review window? How long do I have to leave one?

A: The review option becomes available after you confirm an order. Contact support@fursonasfactory.com if you’re unable to locate the review prompt.

Q: Are reviews anonymous?

A: Reviews are not anonymous — your username appears with your review. This encourages honest, accountable feedback and discourages abuse.

Q: Can an artist ask me to change my review?

A: Artists can reply publicly to your review, but pressuring you to change a review is not acceptable conduct. Report it to support@fursonasfactory.com if this happens.

Q: Can I see an artist’s full review history?

A: Yes. An artist’s reviews are visible on their public profile page. You can read through all reviews they’ve received as part of evaluating whether to commission them.

Q: What star rating system does FursonasFactory use?

A: A 1–5 star rating system. 5 stars is the highest rating. Your star rating and written feedback together form your review.

Q: Can staff remove a review?

A: Yes. Staff (Moderators and Admins) can hide or remove reviews that violate platform rules — fake reviews, targeted harassment through reviews, and reviews that contain prohibited content.

Q: Can an artist see who flagged their review?

A: No. The identity of the person who submitted a flag or report is not shared with the reported user.

Q: What is review manipulation?

A: Review manipulation includes buying reviews, trading positive reviews, submitting fake reviews from alternate accounts, threatening negative reviews to extract concessions, and leaving retaliatory reviews. All are Code of Conduct violations.

Q: Does my average rating affect my visibility on the platform?

A: Yes. Your reputation score factors into search ranking and may affect your visibility in discovery features. A strong track record of positive reviews improves your platform standing.

Q: Can a buyer leave a review for an order they disputed?

A: The review becomes available after an order reaches Confirmed status. If a dispute was resolved and the order ultimately confirmed, the review option follows. If the order was refunded or canceled, there is no review.

Q: Can I respond to a negative review without it looking defensive?

A: Best practice is to be brief, thank the buyer for their feedback, acknowledge any legitimate criticism, and if there’s relevant context, add it factually without arguing. Avoid anything that reads as attacking or dismissing the buyer.

Q: What is the minimum written content required for a review?

A: The platform asks for a written component alongside your star rating with a minimum character requirement. Provide genuine, specific feedback that helps other buyers.

Q: Do review scores expire or get weighted by recency?

A: Reviews are currently aggregated as a cumulative score. Recency weighting may be refined in future updates.

Q: Can I review a bounty commission the same way as a direct listing?

A: Yes. The review process is the same regardless of how the commission was initiated — the review becomes available after the order is confirmed complete.

Q: What is the overall reputation score made up of?

A: Your reputation score is primarily driven by your average star rating across all reviews. Completion rate, dispute outcomes, and platform standing may also factor into how the platform surfaces your work. The exact formula may evolve as the platform matures.

Q: Can a buyer submit a review if the order auto-released?

A: The review becomes available after an order reaches Confirmed status — auto-release triggers that confirmation. Yes, buyers can leave a review after auto-release.

Q: I accidentally submitted a blank or incomplete review. What do I do?

A: Contact support@fursonasfactory.com. If the review was submitted empty or with clearly insufficient content, staff may be able to remove it so you can submit a proper one.

Q: Can an artist reply to every review, including positive ones?

A: Yes. You can reply to any review — positive or negative. A brief, gracious reply to positive reviews is good community practice and appreciated by buyers.

Q: What if a buyer updates their review after I’ve already replied?

A: The current review system doesn’t support buyer edits to submitted reviews. Any changes would require staff involvement. Your reply is attached to the review as submitted.

Q: Does FursonasFactory verify that reviews are from real transactions?

A: Yes. Reviews are tied to confirmed orders — you can only leave a review if you have a completed order with that artist. Reviews from fake orders or from artists reviewing each other are forms of review manipulation and will be removed.

Q: Can a single buyer leave multiple reviews for the same artist?

A: Yes — one review per completed order. If a buyer has commissioned an artist multiple times, each completed order generates a separate review opportunity.

Q: What is the maximum review text length?

A: There’s a character limit on review text designed to keep reviews useful and readable. The submission form will indicate the maximum. Long essays aren’t necessary — specific, honest, and constructive is the ideal.

Q: Is there a way to thank a buyer for their review without publishing a public reply?

A: Public replies are the only formal response mechanism. You could also send the buyer a DM to thank them privately if you prefer not to reply publicly.

Q: Are there any restrictions on what artists can say in a review reply?

A: Yes. Replies must remain professional — no attacking, threatening, or insulting the reviewer. No revealing private information from the order. No pressuring the buyer to change their review. Violating these norms is a Code of Conduct violation.
